FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Pick-up/delivery/shipping options:
    Local Pick-Up (West Sacramento) - $0 Curbside pick-up at our local home studio in West Sacramento, CA. Contactless pick-up also available. When arrived, please call or text us at 916-399-3013. At this point, you can request contactless pick-up if that is your preferred method and we'll place your order out for you to pick up. Otherwise, we'll bring your order out to your car. Pick-up address will be provided in order confirmation email. Local Delivery (Greater Sacramento) - $15 Delivery only limited to Greater Sacramento region. Normal delivery made between 11am-6pm PST. **If a specific delivery time is requested or changes need to be made, we will try our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee. At time of delivery, if there is no answer, we’ll place the order in a safe area if weather is suitable. If weather is unsuitable, we’ll call or text the phone number on file to notify Sender/Recipient for the option to leave the order in the safest place possible or to bring back to our studio for next day delivery at an additional charge. If no response is received from the Sender/Recipient in a timely manner, we’ll automatically schedule for next day delivery at an additional charge. If place of delivery is apartment, condo, hotel, business or any of the sort, the order will be left with the front office or concierge if delivery directly to recipient/recipient's door is not possible or weather is unsuitable. Shipping - Unfortunately, we do not offer shipping & delivery outside of Greater Sacramento at the moment.
  • What is your return policy?
    Return requests must be made within 24 hours after pick-up or delivery and are for quality purposes only. Any return requests made after 24 hours of pick-up/delivery will not be accepted. To start a return, please email us at info@petalishflowers.com with the order number & reason(s) for the return along with photos of the item(s) in question. Once approved, it may take up to 3-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Order cancellations can be made as long as the order has not been fulfilled. Once an order has been fulfilled, we cannot cancel the order. To cancel an order, please email us at info@petalishflowers.com with your order number.
  • How far in advance do I need to place my order?
    We require all orders be placed at least 3 days/72 hours in advance. Due to an industry-wide flower shortage, we highly encourage 1-2 weeks (or more) advance orders to ensure best availability or if there is a flower and/or color specifically requested. **WE'RE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING SAME DAY ORDERS.
  • Do you offer same-day orders?
    We're currently not accepting same-day orders. We require all orders be placed at least 3 days/72 hours in advance. Due to an industry-wide flower shortage, we highly encourage 1-2 weeks (or more) advance orders to ensure best availability or if there is a flower and/or color specifically requested.
  • Can I gift my order to the recipient 1-2 days later?
    We recommend gifting your order to the recipient on the same day of receipt when the arrangement is its freshest. Our arrangements are either arranged in wet foam or wet packed (wrapped in wet tissue) and freshness of the blooms may deteriorate at a faster rate than arranged in water-filled vases.
  • How long will my flowers last?
    Many factors contribute to the lifespan of your blooms. Flower type, color, petal count, temperature, placement and season all play a contributing factor. We cannot guarantee the duration of the survival of your arrangement/bouquet. For all flowers, we recommend placing away from direct sunlight, fruits, fans & vents. Flowers that are arranged in foam (Bloom Boxes & Bloom Envelopes) will not last as long as fresh cuts (Bloom Wraps). Depending on the flower varieties used, Bloom Boxes & Envelopes can last 4-8 days depending on room temperature and customer care. Bloom Boxes & Envelopes need to be watered daily by adding water to the floral foam. For Bloom Wraps, we highly suggest you unwrap the flowers, cut the stems about 1 inch from the tip at a 45 degree angle and placing them in a water-filled vase immediately after receiving them. Depending on the flower varieties, they can last 6-10 days depending on room temperature and customer care. We recommend refilling the water & recutting the stems every 1-2 days.
  • Are all the flowers real?
    Yes, all florals used in our arrangements & bouquets are real.
  • What comes with my floral arrangement/bouquet?
    All floral arrangements & bouquets come with optional complimentary mini enclosure card for the recipient. All Bloom Wraps come with a mini packet of flower food. Bloom Boxes & Bloom Envelopes do not include flower food.
  • How do I care for my flowers?

  • Can I request a custom arrangement with specific flower(s) and/or color(s)?
    Absolutely! For special requests, please email us at info@petalishflowers.com. Certain flowers & colors are only available seasonally and we'll try our best to accommodate. Prices for certain flowers & colors also fluctuate based on season & demand and your custom request may be priced accordingly. We also highly encourage you submit your request at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure best availability.
  • Do you do flowers for weddings and events?

  • Do you offer flower subscription?
    Unfortunately, not at the moment but we may consider it in the future.
